Remembering Pope Francis, in May we pray that through work each person may find fulfilment; that families will be sustained in dignity, and that society becomes more human.
‘Echoing the age-old message of the prophets, the Jubilee reminds us that the goods of the earth are not destined for a privileged few, but for everyone… I think especially of those who lack water and food: hunger is a scandal, an open wound on the body of our humanity.’ – Pope Francis
Our focus for May
- Following the death of our beloved Pope Francis, we join in prayer for the repose of his soul, and for the Conclave which begins on 7 May. Please join us to entreat the Holy Spirit to be present at this moment of change and uncertainty, in which we both mourn and celebrate Pope Francis, and look with hope to the next era of our global Church.
