In April, we pray with Pope Francis that new technologies will not replace human relationships, but will respect the dignity of the person, and will help us face the challenges of our times.

During April, we celebrate the Sacred Triduum and begin our Easter Season. It is a time of profound hope for our global Church.

• This month, as we pray with the Holy Father around the often complex issue of new technologies, why not commit to a whole month of spreading only hope on your social media feeds? During April, perhaps we can take extra care to use our Facebook, Instagram, X and other platforms only to share prayers, compassion, encouragement, and solidarity, and make a conscious effort not to use those feeds for harm of any kind – including to ourselves.
