Mission Today Autumn 2025

In our latest edition, you will learn about World Mission Sunday which is to be celebrated on 19 October. The late Pope Francis chose the theme ‘Missionaries of Hope Among All Peoples‘ and encouraged us to be ‘messengers and builders of hope’.

You will find an abridged version of the late Holy Father’s message for World Mission Sunday and ‘one-minute missions’ for every day throughout October – ways to be ‘missionary’ right where you are, with simple daily acts of prayer, reflection, giving or connection.

Also featured are stories from Cambodia: ‘From bullet holes to hope‘ and Myanmar: ‘Missionaries of hope in Myanmar‘. Both detail the vital work of missionaries in areas of great suffering.

See what a difference your gifts to Missio can make to our global family in need of the Gospel of peace, reconciliation and healing. And join us to celebrate and support World Mission Sunday 2025.
